I just wanted to let everyone how well my car has run since Shiv and the Crew have worked their magic. When I picked the car up it was in 90+ degree heat and it ran flawlessly. Turns out to be roughly 40 more horsepower than stock to the wheels. I have a Vishnu turbo back and the ECUTEK flash which I believe equates to their stage 1. I drove the car around for awhile with just the exhaust on and that was a noticable difference but now it just runs better everywhere. The first thing I noticed was alot more low end grunt and much quicker boost response. But after driving awhile what really stands out is how much more responsive sixth gear is on the freeway. It now feels like fifth gear and no longer really necesary to downshift while passing. The only bad thing about these addictive qualites is that you can never seem to have enough. Now on to stage 2.

Yeah I've been an avid Zapco user since the early eighties (kinda showing my age here a little) I haven't had the time to finish my stereo yet but I have 2 symbi-link competition amps just waiting for me to use them. And also thanks again everyone from Vishnu for taken care of me and my car, it runs great.

Zapco rules. I have like 6 Zapcos.
I like the old competition series. White with fins. Those are awesome. I got a Z100, Z200, Z300, Z400 Z600 and some other funky one.

Those are the ones I have Alex, the old competition series with the heat sinks. I have 1 Z400C4SL with the built in x-over and noise gate and 1 Z600C2SL. They're just waiting for a good home.

The reflashes are ready. For both the 04 and 05 STis. Very happy with them. Everything from boost, boost limits, rev limits, open/closed loop switches, knock correction tables, ign maps, fuel maps, etc,. are mappable. We're seeing 20-30whp and 40-60ft-lbs gains with just the reflash alone. I'm still in NY right now but i'll be back at work on wed. Give the boys a call if you want to make an appointment. I don't think anyone will be unsatisfied with the results judging by the feedback we've been getting

I got it
Shiv did my 05 STi on Sunday in NJ. It freakin rocks, I'm really impressed with the performance. I brought it in with the Vishnu TBE already installed and it pulled 270/270 on the Dynojet. After reflash and tune, it pulled 290/315. Stock STis run 240-250 on that dyno. Boost spool is sick and the car pulls harder than I expected for just TBE+reflash. It's extremely smooth through the RPM range and on/off boost too.
Plot attached.

Thanks Shiv,
Josh
