It's hard for me to say who would win at a track since so much like suspension goes into it and I don't have knowledge about the R32 suspension. But I can say that in a drag setting I would get off the line quicker and would be about a car length ahead, then when we hit about 3rd gear he would pull up and pass to about a car ahead of me. I don't know how much of that was the drivers either. Neither of us had had our cars longer than two months at that time. Now a year later, I know I'm a ton better at launching, but he has had three golfs and I doubt they're that much different.

From: Are you too one of the few still living the past? Well I can change that! With a simple wicket. Yes, my friend, a wicket. PM for details.
Car Info: No car right now....sob.
Smack a SuperCharger on it and it could own the Scooby. VW has better suspension too, it could give the STi stock for stock a run for its money.

He hit the brakes way too early. Ideally you should be able to do that and keep in your lane, but he moves horizontally.

GHEY! Actually, really ghey! Why did he show snow tires and the fact he had "4-motion" and there was snow all around but he didn't drive in it? I don't get it.

One he dropped the clutch from near redline, and if you do that in a Impreza you will not bog, but the real reason that he didn't bog is because the car is NA.

ok video over all -- I havn't seen many r32 so it was kinda interesting to see one.

That video is pretty sweet aside from the gayness of opening the doors, dropping the clutch and shutting them. That is horrible, but aside from the door gayness pretty good video. I want to see rally teams from VW, Toyota, and Mazda.

Indeed. I thought he was going to throw it off the other side of the road. My favorite parts though were the 'drifts' (sad). I wouldn't have cared if he didn't make such a big deal trying to get it sideways (throwing the car the wrong way before entering the corner then cutting back), only to have everything hook up.

Not a bad video overall though, the camera shots were pretty damn nice. I think the car was dirty because he did all those half-assed slides beforehand.

got that from: http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/ov...11141&src=NRES

it got really good reviews...like 9.3 overall

i think gdogg was making a joke about it not being a golf. even though your info was very nice.

he was probably making a reference like how srt4 owners claim their car isn't a neon
