There is a cool 5th gear vid of the cars of the year for 2005. I don't want to spoil anything, but Tiff does a 360 in the 05 GTI and it made my jaw drop.

Nothing like a video featuring a dirty car.

He did a pretty good reverse spin, though. I'd rather not torture my car like that, but if anyone wants to lend me their wrx, I'll show you how to do it .

its a souped up golf called teh R32

"The R32 is a high-performance two-door hatchback version of the Golf, added to the Volkswagen line-up for the 2004 model year. The Golf is now in its fourth generation since replacing the Beetle in the 1970s and the R32 is the most high-performance version ever offered."

got that from: http://autos.msn.com/research/vip/ov...11141&src=NRES

it got really good reviews...like 9.3 overall

My buddy got an R32 within a couple of days of getting my WRX last year. Both stock, it was pretty equal as far as speed went. IMO they're nice and fast, but very overpriced. They were almost $34,000 out the door, which to me is too much to pay for a VW.

That video is pretty cool, but I certainly wouldn't be doing that in a $34,000 VW. I agree with above that if you're going to take all that time to make a video, which they obviously did with all of the different angles and shots, you should have planned ahead and washed your car.

That guy definitely has some skills though. I've never owned a car that I was brave enough to even attempt something like that.
