Drag Racing at IRP in Indy. Not the quickest run of the day, but still fast enough to beat a v8 mustang to the line by 0.3 sec. I have a Borla Hush CBE, but I still consider that a stock car. 0.135 R/T on this run, and the AWD got me a nice lead at the begining. Thanks to Megan for the commentary...

I am a research scientist at a medical device company, and have access to many different types of things, one being a 200lb shipment of dry ice every monday morning. if you want a supercooled intercooler, to -78.5º C (-109º F). get yourself about 30lbs of this and cover your intercooler with it about 15-20 minutes before your run, and keep adding as need until you get to the line. i took 0.6 off my 1.4 mile time, and believe me it wasn't in driving technique. this is much more efficient than those n-tercooler spray kits, and lasts much longer. i still had frost on the entire intercooler body after the pass down the track. plus you have some cool sublimation smoke coming out of your hoodscoop
damn i didnt think it was possible i have a 2000 GT and an 05' WRX wagon n i thought my mustang would beat my suby considerably..maybe i was wrong..or maybe that other guy didnt know how to drive lol.

trust me, it does, considerably. i had my intercooler so cold your tongue would have stuck to it. um, well if for some odd reason you would have decided to lick my intercooler. supercooled air means denser air per cubic centimeter, meaning more O2 inducted.

I don't think it really makes that much of a difference, i gugess its cool to set on the intercooler but i wouldn't want a bag of ice on some areas of my motor, its likes not using hot water to clean a frozed windshield.
