i know its not a factor to worry about if you do obey the laws. But, ''some'' of us do get a little happy with our right foot when we see something that looks close to that next to us at night~

- and, for those of you that do attend midnight "meets" (you know what i'm talking about) , please think again before attending.

imo: what they're doing is just cruel sometimes~

Funny they mentioned the possibility of folks faking police cars with lights and stuff. They said it's obvious they were cops, but then down in florida they have been having problems with some guy impersonating an officer with an unmarked car and pulling over women and raping them. It got so bad that the town. (Tampa IIRC) was telling people to only pull over for marked black and whites.

This also makes me wonder about entrapment.

yeah, that cop wasn't the brightest. The question was "what if you're worried about people putting lights on their car and imitating an police officer?" and the cops response was "look for they lights, we have them here, here, and here"

stupid cop aside, I think its a great idea. Too many stupid drivers that act like perfect angels when there is a cop in sight. I've loved Hawaii's way of doing it ever since I was there. Officers are given $xxx per month for a car, and they put a blue beacon on top of whatever (or maybe almost whatever) the choose.

you=dumb.

If they seize your car, ITS THEIRS. IT IS THEIR PROPERTY AFTER THAT. However, they usually auction them off rather than use them for duty.

i think its a bad idea.. it encourages ppl to run away cuz of the 'nothing to lose' mentality..
