Did you happen to see a booth for Starline Brass at the shot show? They were talking about making some .41AE brass which is fairly rare and expensive.

I think they are also using glycerine shells. I know Remington makes them but I'm sure a few other companies do. They pretty much shatter into a million pieces on contact with anything soldier. It can pass through a piece of cardboard and on the other side it's like shotgun spread.

Not a video I would watch, but I know my girlfriend thinks all the car videos I watch and all the pictures that get posted on car forums are stupid. Everybody has different hobbies and find different things to be entertaining to them. If you were making hand loaded rounds and you were impressed with the distance you were making kills at and the power they were putting to the target you might make a video showing off your **** to share with people who share a similar interest.
Hell, how many 1/4 slips and dyno # are paraded around here and NASIOC. Hell, how many guys do you know that pinch off a huge log and leave it for people to see. People are proud of some weird ****.

Anywho, I have seen way stupider things get turned into a video series. After watching the entire Girls Gone Wild series, a video chock full of rodents getting owned by small caliber firearms would be a breath of fresh air. Yes, sometimes blood and gore IS better than boobies. Now, if they could make a video of nude teenage (18 and 19 of course... R. Kelly!) girls blowing the heads off prairie dogs, I would preorder a copy 6 months in advance.

I got a Ruger 10/22 (in .22 of course) as a Christmas present when I was 12. Kind of a rite of passage with southern families, a rim fire at 12, a shotgun at 16, and a big bore rifle at 18. I will never forget how I felt that Christmas morning when I came down and saw that Ruger under the tree.
23 years later I still own and shoot it, what a great little gun. Seems really small now
I hope to teach my own son how to shoot and present him with it for Chirstmas when he turns 12 in a few years.O.K. enough nostalgia.
I have to say, that is awesome shooting. The are hiting what would be the equivalent of a man sized target at probably 1000 yards, using bullets so light that a gust of wind will change the point of impact by yards. Them boys is snipers by God!
