Prarie Dog, Be Gone!

So tasteless, it had to be posted. I thought this was a joke, but they actually have a DVD full of this stuff.

I love how the website states "You won't find images like this anywhere else". That's a good thing.

Found this in the site FAQ... Seems like this question comes up quite often.

Q: What kind of firearms were used?

A: Three rifles were used.

1) Savage Model 110 FP in .223

2) Savage Model 12 FV in .22 - 250

3) New England Firearms Sportster in .17 HMR

ehh....everybody has hobbies. I don't hunt, but I do enjoy shooting at targets.

Those are all smaller caliber rifles I have to wonder what type of bullet was being used what velocity they were being fired at.

i used to get paid to clear varmints for one of my dads friends properties where there was a lot. good target practice lol

silentbob343 05-30-2005 04:15 AM

varmint hunting is a popular past time in the midwest they do cause alot of problems for farmers and ranchers. You would be pissed if your horse broke a leg from one of those damn holes. Not for me, but just saying

They have the plague, its either that or having poison laying around. The rifles have a much more significant twist to the rifling as I understand it so that when the round expands after hitting its target the energy is spun outwards from the center of the target by the centrifugal force. More so in any case than a rifle with a standard twist to the barrel.

The .223 is probably a match barreled AR with a heavy twist, 22-250 is a popular varmint caliber and the .17hmr is just a really hot round right now. Its roughly the same diameter as a bb but its a polymer tipped copper jacket round in what amounts to a 22 rimfire cartridge, supersonic neat stuff.

You were raised on too many disney cartoons. They are just diseased prairie dogs. They don't talk and have hilarious warthog freinds that share wild misadventures.

silentbob343 05-31-2005 03:30 PM

I think he's more upset at the fact that they made a video for entertainment purposes.

Deyes:

Have seen the FN USG 5.7x28 pisol, neat high velocity round.

I was at the FN booth at the last Shot Show in Vegas, they had a booth at the NRA show in Houston too. I took pictures of me holding their P90 and P2000, an M249 Saw etc. I may have missed the pistold due to the really cool military weapons they had on display. I'll look it up though. Check out my home page if you're looking for guns and accessories.

Actually I did see that pistol there. Didn't pay much attentions, outwardly it has nothing to indicate its special.
