Looking For Drift Bible
Not sure if that is what it is really called, but I'm trying to download the thing with BitTorrent, and after four days it isn't even a quarter of the way done! if anybody has got it, and would be willing to share via aim, e-mail, whatever, pm me pleaaaase. From what I hear, it is something over an hour long that talks through drifting.

So just curious (I'm very very new to the world of drifting/racing), I've been reading some other threads about drifting, and it seems that there are some problems associated with drifting awd subarus when you're not using the (since we're all so well versed in the dori-king's terminology, I'll use that) power overdrift and feint styles of drifting. For example, I've heard that we can either scrap our center differential, or 2nd gear by trying to pull e-brake drifting.
Some people talk about swapping out the differentials/gearboxes (apparently our front differential is integrated into the gear box, am I right???) to achieve a more rearward power balance (not sure exactly how to describe it, since a discussion on torque and power kinda slipped past me in another thread) in order to facilitate a more drift-worthy driving experience. And what's the deal with the central locking differential and e-brake turns?
I'm pretty sure that this thread is going to get moved somewhere else, but I figured I'd drop it here first since I'm guessing everyone here at least has a moderate interest in drifting, and even if you don't, knowing how your car reacts when it loses traction seems like a good formula for success in racing, on or off the track.
