scarface - yep mostly taylor blvd.
joltdudeuc - hah well when we recorded the video it was a sunday. some clips are in a business park area where there was no one around since it was sunday. other clips were on taylor blvd which is just one big 2 lane road with barely any intersecting streets. It was all safe
if i did get on it near another car I would shut down before reaching them, as the clip before getting on 680 and before passing that minivan on the right.
thesnowboarder - i guess? it's a road near my house

Congrats dude! How do you like the GT30 on the 2.0L? Im toying with this idea as Ive got a Ver. 7 as well...but Im afraid the 30 would have too much lag despite the 8K redline for my tastes. When are you seeing full boost? I would imagine somewhere around 4200-4500rpm but I could be wrong. Are you running pump gas at all? If so, Id really like to know how it is on our **** water 91. Ive always admired your car, it put down nice numbers with the 34 you had a while ago IIRC. Just out of curiosity, why the switch to the Spec C stacks?

yea i've been really happy with the 30r on the 2.0 I had this turbo on the stock ej205 for awhile and that was with a 7k redline hah. So now with an 8k limit it is very very streetable. The turbo i have is a 3040r which is a 35r comp with a 30r turbine, so a hybrid in a way. I would recommend just a straight 30r .82 as I've heard that would be awesome on the jdm motor and be way more efficient on 91 octane. Right now with this turbo i see full boost at 4500-4600 and it pulls hard up to about 7400 and then it lets off a bit. So maybe in the future I might try a 35r, i'm already pretty tempted to get more power out of it
On pump gas because the compressor isn't that efficient the numbers aren't the best. it made 309whp at gruppe-s on 91. So from the vf30 it jumped from 270whp up to 309 on just 91 and on 100/104 it went from 290ish on the vf30 all the way up to 387 on the 30r. Race gas is amazing, hah that's why ive just been running it all the time
The motor i got was just a bare longblock with the intake manifold and no risers. The regular v7 risers don't have the butterfly plates but they still have that divider piece in them, where as the spec plates are 100% hollowed out.

Had to watch this again; I have to say that the clips don't do justice to how fast this car is. Damn you for making me want the H6+GT35 combo, lol, and for making my car feel like a Corolla.
Thanks for the ride.
