Car looks too busy...I hope a 2 door STI is brought into the mix.

haha, owned!!! the X doesnt appeal to the eye, but the drivetrain is out of this world!!! serious handling capabilities.

 

I love the current gen EVO design, always have. (except for some minor details) Almost bought an MR the night I got th STI. That woulda' been a wet dream to own both. ;]
That new one is too busy. The center vent in the hood looks like an afterthought. It doesn't match anything else on the car. Headlamps are uber-show car. Soon to be as popular as Altezza tailamps with the mini-truck crowd.
And yeah, it does look like the Caliber's better-looking big brother. Ick.

Well on Evo's behalf, just think what they had in mind when they seen the 2006 Subaru STI, hell just look at what most of us subaru enthusiasts thought lol. I think it is an ok looking car, not being much of a fan i am sure it will not grow on my or most of us the way the 06 STI over the 05 STi. Maybe they will fire the designer of the Evo X for crap taste Lol.... I too cannot wait for the release of the new subaru, i wonder if it maybe released in a two door version to reduce weight but that would be a different class all together so i dono. Subaroo, step her up guys. Cant wait!
*edit* as for the rally look, a good portion of subaru owners are WRC or USRC fans so it goes with out saying that the rally design is forced into its blood.
Honestly i think the X looks like the 2006 WRC focus http://news.caradisiac.com/IMG/jpg/F...WRC_2006_4.jpg asside the 4 door dif.
