Not to mention that the Evo was behind by a car-length to begin with, and still pulling on the Viper when the Viper decided to let off (like svo said, he either got scared or wanted to look good for his buddies).

Ahh....not from where I was sitting. The Evo seemed to be pulling and like somebody else said the EVO started right on the Vipers rear. Nose to nose it would've been one funny video of a pissed off viper owner. Let's compare: i-4 turbo heavily-moded vs v10 and it was way too close to be that happy about it.
Funny thing is that's 1 run out of who knows how many. I'm betting they did it a few more times, but that is the only clip the viper owner will let on to the internet.
Oh yeah street racing is bad

silly viper...the viper driver only let off because he knew the EVO was gaining...."i'd better quit while i got the jump on him and am still ahead by a little bit...oh **** hes gaining" was what was probably going through his head
