I believe some of the vinyl fell off of his car, got stuck under a tire, and he slid.

That is horrible!! I wouldn't feel bad for the guy if he was street drifting but it must suck to smash up your car in a parking lot with cones set up in it.

Gah, I would feel so bad if I crashed my car at an Auto-x event. (I realize this isn't an auto-x but I don't drift so I can't relate)

It doesn't matter if he had a wing or vinyl.. It still took effort and it still sucks that he smashed it up.

it looks like he tried to go into a drift. you can see his wheels turn right momentarily before he turns them left. bad part of the "track" to try a drift, thats for sure.

I am appalled by all the comments. Poor kid ~ Can't drive to save his life. But, come on. He sounded good, he looked good AND he did get the straight dead on.

But, thinking maybe he should stay at the drags? Corners can be a '*****'!

Just remember this clip the next time you have the need to show some jack that your near stock Subie can run his butt off in the canyon... You just might become his tree. It ain't worth it. Let him go!

hmmmm. Something smells fishy about this video. If you look at the back behind the wall. The people walking just kept walking even though a **** load of dirt and crap went on them. I dunno, just something doesn't seem right.

 

i only saw the gif thingy. man that is some understeer. never seen front tires smoke that hard lol.

 

If you watch carefully you will see the guy looking back at the car after it hit the tree. don't think it is a fake.....wish I could use a avitar, that is the funniest one I have seen yet.
