Review for Protune at GST

Was supposed to drop my car off at GST Motorsports in Hayward for a protune at 9am today. I am still sitting here alone in the parking lot. My friend came with me initially so she could drop me off at work... but it looks like i have to take the day off. The answering machine says they open at 10 normally.

this does not bode well.

mike(i think) was back in the shop... came out when he saw my pm.

Will post results! pretty glad to have this over with today.

So you're going to flame them before they work on your car?

No, but I would have called yesterday to confirm my early appointment, if you did this and no one is there, then I apologize. They probably simply forgot.

i confirmed it two days ago. mike was here. just in the shop and didnt hear my knocking or calls. it doesn't even matter i'm over it. miscommunications happen.

that's not the point.. he should not be sitting in the parking lot if he an appt for the time stated above. I'm sure the outcome of the tune will be great. Mike and GST do good work!

my '07 is there today for a laundry list of installs + protune also!

that's why I dropped my car off last night... they were all still there at 8pm

yay. can't wait to see our results.

Mike probably lives at that shop... from what I've seen. He'll probably be there until 3am tonight...

i can tell you that any competent protune is going to be much better than ots maps... that's for sure. unless you have little mods.

Just to clarify for everyone, I was here and had been here since around 6am unfortunately there are no phones in the actual shop and I didn't hear a car pull up or knocking on the office door due to me being in the shop working a grinder. Honest mistake on my end and for that I apologize! First I noticed a car was when I walked out of the small door from the dyno room to see Kevin sitting there in the lot at around 9:55am

Mike

Yep. like i said before. minor miscommunication. no big deal. after meeting mike, it is clear that he is a good dude with good intentions.

Unfortunately, it looks like my clutch is starting to slip so i am going to have to wait till next week for my protune. Was deciding between an exedy or act, but mike was able to get a discount from exedy so that sealed the deal.

Noooww i waaaaait for Mooondaaay....
