So you tried to install it and it didn't fit and then you bent it trying to make it fit? Why not just send it back after it didn't fit the first time instead of messing with their design and negating any substance for your case?

I wonder if that fits something else. I have used their stuff in the past and had no problems. Not even close to that stuff you have there. That strange inlet looks like a mazda rx-* air induction to help lean out the air as it goes into the cat.
