Damm what where mods before your motor went? You running E85 the whole time? How many miles on the car before motor went?

40k miles, running E85 for about 3 months.

It's a known issue with the 07 STIs so I am not surprised at all that it happened. Thankfully I have the EQ crew to get it back together in rock solid form.

Yep. An extra 100ft-lbs+ will reveal the weak points pretty quickly. It's really a luck of the draw with the 07+ cars at that power level. But she'll be back on the road soon better than ever .

I believe it was 18psi on pump and 22psi on E85. Ed correct me
If I'm wrong.

91 Octane @ 18.5psi:



And E85 @ 23psi:



I left both tunes on the conservative side in terms of timing and fuel because the car will be used on track. Nonetheless, the results are awesome considering the car is catted and has a 2.5" pinch at the catback.

Thanks guys car feels amazing. Ed thanks for posting up the charts. Car felt great on the drive home, but sucks I got rain the whole drive back.

Once I switch to the Propel E85, Ill data log a few pulls and send them over to you if I dont have a chance to get back up there soon.
