Brake cooling upgrade!!

I've find on ebay: Aluminium Brake Cooling Duct for Impreza GDA / GDB / GRB
It makes them produce a member of the club Subaru Italy ( Smteam.it ) from I.C.O.S. factory, a company that produces aluminium parts for Ducati, Ferrari, BMW and Buell. So good quality.

This are a good solution to reduce the overheating of the discs. Need to bring air directly to the center of the disc

I tried them on some tracks where the discs heat up a lot and I found several improvements!

Recommended!

seriously though, I'd rather buy some bent sheet metal from a guy local than order some crap off Ebay from someone who cant even make a complete thought out of a sentence half the time.

I've seen this guy selling these on serveral forums now. most recently on DirtyImpreza.com

I bet these work okay, but for $140 I would rather make my own.

I guess I'm not surprised at the interest in these.

I have access to a shop, if there is enough interest in these locally (or semi-locally, no reason to cut out the hawaiian chapter) We could do a run of 10-15 of these things, probably under $100 each.

PM me if you might be interested in this sort of thing.

in 140 USD includes:

- shipping, insurance and custom fees from Italy
- construction costs and materials
- ebay fees and Paypal fees

If you do a quick calculation you will also see that brake deflectors that do not cost much, is everything else that increases the costs.

If you have any way to make yourself them alone so much the better for you. Definitely save a lot of money

With some small modifications you can also mount the deflectors on Impreza GC8

For mounting just move the bindings back a few centimeters.Ainsi than setting up right to left and left to right.

Here are some photos of those who have already done ...
