Thanks Brandon! I'm so happy we finally got your wiring issue taken care of! I'm still amazed at the power your car was making with two cats! This would be very impressive for a catless car.

Here's your chart:

Thanks

BRANDON! Glad the logging issue was resolved and we we're finally able to button up your setup with a strong tune. I'll hit you up around beginning of Feb.

Ed, Adam and I were all shocked at the result. Ed thought I would only put around 260WHP, I was hoping 270WHP. Who knew I would get 285WHP! Thanks again Ed, I was finally able to go home happy!

This car had a lot of wiring done and the ECU was cutting communication during pulls. We ended up trouble shooting and going through the wiring to track down the issue. It ended up being some stereo wiring with a ground that wasn't too clean.

Thanks

Thanks Ed, I'm having the exact same issue with a 2001 JDM STi here in the UK. It had obviously had a sub and amp in the trunk, the wires were/are just lying around. I don't think it's going to be much fun tracking the problem down.

Cheers,
Paul

any time i buy a car and it has stereo wiring i rip that stuff out and re-do it. I find that many people aren't as thorough as myself. Good to see another brit on here. Bollocks to the poll tax.

Hi Ed, how do you go about troubleshooting something like this, we're lost. If we take it to an auto electrician what do we ask him to look for? I found the earth behind the stereo was disconnected, we've cleaned all of the grounds. I noticed the earth cable from the ECU housing is missing, could this cause the issue, I'll try running an earth to it tomorrow. Sorry for the thread hijack btw.

Cheers,
Paul
