Talking +2 for Ed and Eq Tuning

This is my second tune with Ed and Eq Tuning and I can't say enough good things about the work that Ed and his crew do. After about 2 hours in the back roads of Fairfield, and numerous, thrilling 3rd gear pulls, my WRX feels like a whole new beast and its so much fun to drive again. I will be back at Eq Tuning when its time for my turbo upgrade.

Seriously! Ed said that this was the most torque he has made off a TD04.

That is some truly amazing torque. I have also been tuned by Ed twice. He managed to squeeze 202whp/227wtq out of my 2.0 tuned conservatively and then 262whp and 280wtq out of my motor swap which was done at his shop. (ej257 shortblock and 2.0 heads). Respectable numbers both times without compromising longevity or drivability. Thanks Ed for the continued excellence.

Ed definitely knows his stuff. I dont' know of any other tuner who will fiddle with the tuning map pass after pass, to get it just right and pull out the most potential from your car. In addition, he also changes my throttle characteristics to make it feel more like a cable-driven instead of the mushy dbw pedal. Very cool change to the tune

Wow! You got me beat. I am trying to stay pretty conservative with the tune since this is my dd, but I am still really happy with it.

nooo i made the most torque on td04 with stage 2! i made like 400wtq+ (yay for funky torque converter that gives false torque readings!) hahaha.

back on topic, that curve looks amazing! got to love the 2.5L's.

Lol! That would be sick to have that much wtq on a stock turbo! Seriously Ed does good work and I trust his road tunes.

Nice power on a Stage 2 Bobby. How was the weather in Fairfield when you were there for the tune?

Thanks! Luckily it was early in the day so it only reached the mid 70's by the time we were finished. Still warm enough to crank up the a/c between pulls...

1) I know exactly how you feel. After the tune, I didn't feel bad paying (at the time) $4 at the pump. Love these guys.

2) Woah....nice tq numbers! I bet you couldn't stop smiling the whole way home.
