New Product - Helix Top Mount Intercooler

We just got 4 Helix TMICs in today. More are coming in the next 1-2 weeks.

$559 + shipping

The Helix Top-Mount-Intercooler for the 2002-2005 Impreza WRX features a massive 480mm x 200mm x 100mm (19” x 8” x 4”) bar and plate core designed exclusively for larger-than-stock-turbo WRX’s. The massive bar and plate core allows efficient cooling of the intake charge with minimal pressure drop. 25 + degree (F) intake charge temperature reductions are realized over the stock TMIC – helping to both increase power and reduce risk of detonation.* Included is a cast-aluminum Y-pipe, silicon hose, and the cast end-tanks are CNC machined to ensure optimal flow characteristics. Dyno-testing has yielded over 15whp gains with even greater performance gains in real world conditions.*

*Testing conducted on VF34 equipped WRX. Testing was run with intercooler temps brought down to 90 (F) then conducting 3rd gear loaded runs at 17psi.

The graph shows another VF34 car we tested just today. The intercooler was strapped on, untuned to yield 15whp! With some tuning, the midrange and top end power can be increased to yield even larger gains!

MSRP $649.00

myroncuz - There really is nothing drastically different among the majority of tmic's on the market. It's going to flow as well or better as other brands.

gdogg - These are the only tests we have right now. More to come soon.

Thanks

Yes, it should clear a Cusco front strut bar.

playa7 - No, you don't need a STi splitter for it to work.

kunfuzion - Physical size:
Stock WRX: 16.5" x 6" x 3"
STi: 20.5" x 7.3 x 4"
JDM STi Version 7: 15% dimensionally larger core size than the USDM STi IC
Helix: 19” x 8” x 4”

Thanks
Preston
