I only have a cat-back, would a flash be worthwhile?

I have no plans to add more power mods any time soon.

A custom tune will give you very significant gains in power and response as well as give you a much smoother power band all around. This is true with even for a bone stock car.

Thanks

I'm in the same boat. Have you done a stocker with catback yet that you could post the results?

Cobb AP for a stocker shows less than 1 HP gain (gains only with going catless) for the 2006/07 model. 20hp increase with a downpipe.

Vishnu still shows a stage subzero with 280 hp for a stocker(not whp).

Just curious what your results would be.

thanks,
kevin

Here is an 06 WRX with Catback, MBC and Tune. All else is stock:

And here is an 06 WRX with a TXS Stealthback (stock muffler), MBC and Tune:

For reference, a bone stock 06 WRX puts down 170-180whp and around 200ft-lbs.

Besides the obvious power/torque gains, the car will drive much smoother and you will gain a lot of response all around.

Thanks
