Hey Ed, I have a nasty rattle coming from the uppipe heatshield....can you guys reweld the heatshield? Or do you carry uppipes?
I'm not sure if I should replace it with an aftermarket piece....not sure if there are any gains to be had from an aftermarket uppipe since they are both catless....

We do carry uppipes. There are some slight gains to be had via slightly large and smoother piping, but its not a big gain overall. The main benefit is getting rid of the stock heatshield that always breaks loose and the stock flex section can sometimes crack as well.
Most exhaust shops will tack your stock heatshield back in place for around $20.
Thanks

hey ed would you be comfortable working on a g35/350z?
i've got nothing on the car but would like to 'maximize' the potential while being incredibly safe.

Ask and you shall receive...
Here's a really strong 07 STI I tuned recently:
Cobb Catless TBE, Perrin EL Headers, SPT Intake, Hallman MBC, Tuned with Cobb AP V2 on 91 Octane on a cool day:

This thing made great power without much hassle and is the strongest stock turbo 07 STI I've tuned to date.

And here's another very fun 07 STI:
FP Green 8cm, PE800cc injectors, Perrin FMIC with blow-through MAF, Catless TBE, Hallman MBC, SMC Meth injection. Tuned with Cobb AP V2 on 91 + Meth.
This was just a very mild tune on 21psi and the thing pulls like a freight train!

Thanks
