Sounds kinda fishy to me - what could be his motives? Goodwill? [haha] Higher profits? Reduce profits of american oil companies? Maybe he's trying to make us mind our own buisness by pointing out we also need help?

However, this is a clever way to do it, you gotta say. Bush already isn't popular among the poor- but this makes people who aren't in poverty realize that we, the only remaining superpower, also need help, and maybe shouldn't be spending so much of our resources over seas.
