The types of signs those Nimrods where holding were worse than the stereotypical Che shirt. I even saw one sign that had a Swastika drawn over a Jeb Bush sign.

Whoa my bad...I wan't passing judgement on you, just saying that I think your analogy is not analogous to the situation.

No matter how much you hate those 'nimrods' that are putting swastikas on signs, they are more acurate than the religious zealots who are saying Schiavo has a chance of coming back. Jeb DID try to use executive power to sway/interupt the judicial process. That's definatly a step towards facism/totalitarianism, a system of gov't that has been comonly associated with the **** party. Furthermore, when members of the executive branch of our government try to intervine in a court case that has been going on for 6 years and they try to reverse all 6 years of judgements by several local and state courts, I think they deserved to be likened to facist pigs. There's a reason we have 3 seperate branches of government...the Bush Bros should stay the f*** away from the judicial system (except George gets to appoint Supreme Court Justices, of course).

I agree.

Here's an apt comic.

Your comparison is groundless. Congress passed a law within their boundaries and Jeb Bush fought it as far as he could. He didn't go beyond the courts. That would have been bad. You and these nimrods associate your ignorance of the system as being fascism or part of some conspiratorial religious movement. This is bad. Was he to sit by as a Christian politician with fingers in his ears? There's no way!

Your **** comparison would have been stronger if you said Jeb Bush and those members of the former **** party liked Lima Beans and enjoyed taking relaxing bowel movements on the toilet while reading.

Right on! I just saw Jesse Jackson's statements, and actually what I heard him saying is right. She is being tortured. She should be given a drip so she can go to sleep forever.

Even the attempt at getting a court-ordered injunction on procedings that have been going on for 6YEARS is rediculous. Was he to sit by as a Christian politician with his fingers in his ears?!?!?! Are you s***ing me?!?! He should have left his politics out of it and started a foundation for Christians for the Life of Terri Schiavo if his 'Christian heart' was so hurt by the situation. Using his power as governor to question the authority of the courts IS wrong. It is NOT the executive branches job to fight laws they think are wrong. That's the job of citizens in conjunction with the judicial system. And that's exactly what was happening in the Florida courts until Jeb, George, and the media s***storm hit the fan. 6 years of court rulings...the 'protube' side has had PLEANTY of opportunity to get their side heard. But their side is not legally right, the courts have decided that over and over and over. So let it be, the judicial system works how it's supposed to for once. The executive branch's job is to make sure laws are obeyed, but that's it.

I'd also like to thank Jesse Jackson for transforming this issue from a 'liberal' vs 'conservative' issue to a 'logical reasoning' vs 'religious nut job' issue.

Precautionary I think. Most of the doctors agree that she feels no pain, but I am sure it is easier (as easier as it can be) on the parents if they are giving her morphine.

Split the thread.

This thread equals 'is this case more or less newsworthy than the media would lead you to believe?'

Other thread, 'is the brain dead lady a vegetable who feels pain or doesn't?'
