Sorry I call BS again. Its not our military that is up to our high standards its the administration that sends them out. We all know, atleast those of us that are rational, that the military follows orders it doesn't make them.

Don't confuse me with most.
I do not feel "put down" by the crap that the Left preaches.
I'm just tired of it.

It's funny that you mention that life ain't fair.
Why do you support the Left's ideas of wealth redistribution then?

As for you, case1, you need to read up on WWII some more.
By applying the Left's oppinion in defending the Sept 11th attacks, one could say that the Japanese were well within their rights to conduct a pre-emptive attack on the US.

Let's look further into WWII.
What about Germany?
Germany didn't attack the US before we declared war on her.
Same with Italy and the rest of the Axis powers, except Japan.

Was the US justified in declaring war, attacking, defeating, occupying, and finally establishing democracies in Germany?

Anyway, yes, I'm Paul, the i-club member formally known as Oaf.
After working for The Man, or my case, The Woman, for 7 years, I've opened my own business, dbtuned.
My partner & I specialize in Subaru performance work, including ecu tuning.
We have a Mustang AWD dyno and love to talk cars.
Any of you have car questions, even the most Left leaning, please pm me & I'll try to help you.

Are you suggesting that Saddam and Iraq were behind the Sept 11 attacks!?!?!?!

Dude, I'm not Hella.

It has not been proved to me that Iraq/Saddam pulled the trigger.
However, I believe he was an accessory; funded it, provided support/aid.

And that is where I have to disagree. I don't believe Saddam ever had any type of contact (funding, personal, motivationally, etc) with Al Queda at all. There's no proof of it, so if you DO beleive there was contact, it is pure speculation based on opinion.

I feel for my buddies that have already done 3-4 tours to Iraq, A-Stan, or a combination of the two. There's never been a worse time to be a Army family than now. Then again, many people in Vietnam had numerous tours with a draft, so it’s not like brass didn’t see this one coming.

Even if an insurgency wasn't at the top of the totem poll it had to be acknowledged that this could happen.

So who do you blame for the bad planning? If you believe it was badly planned? If not disregard.

Agree (didn't mean it jokingly- but it was along the lines of this thread)

I'd love to serve in some way locally, but I'd probably be given laughing gas at the recruiter and wake up in Iraq. What a freaking nightmare.
