Why did Kerry's Mom emphasize integrity?
Do you think she recognized a shortcoming?
I got this from his own words in the final debate, regarding what Kerry's mother said to him. Why would someone who is on their death bed be compelled to empasize "integrity, integrity, integrity?"
I know from experience that people often talk about aspects of life that they worry about before being at peace when they know life is coming to an end.
I was asked to take care of someone once from someone who was about to die.
I don't know why someone would ever mention something of this magnatude, and I seriously doubt Kerry realizes the total meaning of it.
I think it says a lot about his character.

Given the lack of integrity shown by every person in the current administration, not to mention the crap that Clinton went through simply on the basis of his personal philandering nature, I expect she was only saying that to remind him that integrity is one thing that he needs to hold onto if he's going to be successful.
I too, think it says a lot about his character, but in a positive way.
Not that I think he's exactly the model of integrity, but I do think he shows a lot more of it than anyone still associated with bushcheney inc.
