Who let Carter out of his cage?

Former President Jimmy Carter says that despite changes designed to eliminate voting problems in Florida — where the disputed 2000 presidential election was decided by only a few hundred votes — conditions for a fair election in that state still don't exist.

Sounds like the Democrats are setting up early in order to pull the "I told you so" card if they lose again. Maybe Carter's trying to seem relevant in a world that has all but forgotten him.

If the factors that made the last elecion questionable (and crooked if you ask me) still exist, such as Bush's brother and Genda Hood, among others, what is wrong in question the vlaidity and fairness of the upcoming election?

No isht, the Florida debacle last time around made us the laughingstock of the world, if our elections are being rigged our country is truly doomed.

I agree with both of you but changes designed to eliminate voting problems in Florida have been made despite Carter.

It sounds like an old man complaining about how votes were counted with pea gravel and how a soda cost a nickel and tasted better years ago. How else are we supposed to do this if we can't rely on this newer system & technology?

I would hate to have Carter behind me right before a jump saying "You sure you want to jump that chute?"
