I remember reading once about an Iranian Jewish Woman getting on a predominately Muslim bus and sitting at the front. Bad move. The men nearly beat her to death.

If you want to have fun in an potentially unforgiving place then go to Singapore where you risk similar punishment for being drunk and disorderly, but not for solely drinking beer.
