Delerium tremens ale 8.5+% alcolhol !
Theres a reason there's pink elephants on the bottle.
Pranqster is very similar
Racer 5 ale is good as well.
Steelhead is good on tap, but not in the bottle

Some good advice here ^^^^^
First, any time is a good time for BASS. Newcastle is good too, and Fullers London Pride is a winner if you can find it. I had a McEwen last night at streets of london and that pretty much rocked too. Mmmmm English beer... About the only English beer I don't like is Bodingtons... Bleh...
A Corona with a lime is great for the warmer months and grilling meat.
Red Stripe, as mentioned previously, is an easy drinking beer good for kicking it outside. Other good outdoor / kicking it beers are rolling rock and Heinekin.
Your American consumer beers, Bud, Coors, Miller and all of the lights pretty much suck unless you are at a Kings game, in which case they save you 3 or 4 dollars.
Sierra Nevada, Sudwerk and Beermans are all kick *** local brews. Sierra Nevada has a real hoppy taste and is very unique.
I hope this thread never ends...

Do you like a hoppy beer?
These would be IPA-type brews.
If so, try anything from Sierra Nevada Brewery, as they hop the **** out of all their brews.
I prefer Germanic High Octane brews, such as Spatan's Optimator.
Belgian Ales, like doppels, triples, and especially fruity Lambics(sp) will make your special lady friend take off her clothing faster than a Catholic school girl on Prom Night.
Trader Joe's Vienna Lager is a good brew for hot days.
My favorites hail from North Coast Brewing Company; I enjoy their Scrimshaw Ale.

Blue Moon Ale, 90 Schilling, Guiness, Fat tire, Sierra Nevada micro brews are the way to go if you ask me. Try something new everytime. Check out the Blue Frog in Fairfield and get a sampler, BJ's in Folsom has good in house brews too.
