I was flipping through the channels yesterday and I flipped by the britsh parlament taping. All I can say is wow, why are we not doing it like this. Blair was defending himself against his opposition. Stating his views and WHY he did them. Not only that he was quick on his feet and so was his oppossition. I forgot what law they where trying to pass but this was a awesome display of how POLITICIANS should have debates. My older brother and his girlfriend where over and my older brother couldn't leave. And he hates watching debates. I think a system like that motivates individuals to participate.

In short if get the chance to watch their parlement in action DO IT!
