Thoughts on .xxx?
What do some of our far left and right wingers feel about this?
I personally think it's a good idea for people that love and for people that detest the **** industry. It would be so easy to filter for parents and companies.
Not only that but it would be really easy to avoid **** if you didn't want to look at it just be looking at the end of the addr.
Just curious about i-public opinion.

I don't see the downside. Of course, I'm not a conservative/religious fanatic who thinks **** is Satan at work and is half the reason the world sucks today...

I agree.
Easy to track and very easy to filter. You can still beat off to midgets spinning on ceiling fans and parents can be a bit more relaxed.
Anyone know how they will be selling the domains if they go this route? Will they give the person with sweatyballs.com first choice at sweatyballs.xxx?
I also wonder how SEO will work for those with established **** .com's. Not that I care really but I wonder if they'll allow for a redirect on their old domain that points to the .xxx? At which point any filter would stop it from redirecting anyway.

It's not that simple though. You can't expect all pornographic images and other material to be restricted to the .xxx domain; that's not its purpose. The purpose is to help the industry and parents to prevent access by minors using filter software. Most companies that sell online pornography will be quite willing to change their domain name, but there's no way to make it a requirement. It opens up a few cans of worms that lead to bad places. (Censorship, privacy rights, etc.)
