Spanish Muslims Issue Fatwa Against Bin Laden
About damn time!
Granted it's only Spain but they did have reason enough to issue Fatwa. Makes you wonder why other larger Muslim groups never came forward earlier? Maybe they were hiding their optimism?
I mean it only took one significant Muslim group to come forward after 4 years. Ever other attempt was too insignificant. The only problem is that they're focusing on the train accident that took place a year ago. Not like any of these significant Muslim groups had any reason to issue Fatwa on Osama for his atrocities towards the USA.
But whatever... the fact that someone is finally coming forward is a good no matter what.
I've questioned this once before: https://www.i-club.com/forums/showth...ackson+muslims

MADRID (Reuters) - Spain's leading Islamic body has issued a religious order declaring Osama bin Laden (news - web sites) to have forsaken Islam by backing attacks such as the Madrid train bombings a year ago.
The Islamic Commission of Spain timed its "fatwa" for Friday to coincide with the first anniversary of the attacks, which killed 191 people and were claimed in the name of al Qaeda in Europe.
The commission's secretary-general, Mansur Escudero, said the fatwa had moral, rather than legal weight, and hoped it would spur similar pronouncements from Muslim groups worldwide.
"We declare ... that Osama bin Laden and his al Qaeda organization, responsible for the horrendous crimes against innocent people who were despicably murdered in the March 11 terrorist attack in Madrid, are outside the parameters of Islam," the commission said.

It's a step but I wish it was the Saudi muslim clerics or some packistani clerics or something....
I doubt the Spanish muslim clerics have much pull in the grand scheme of things.....
Baby steps....baby steps......

Even though catching the number one US target would do more good.
