Should the rich vote?
Let's face it. most billionaires have more money than they can even spend in their lifetimes, and 5 generations of heirs for that matter, why should they need any more influenece over anyone else, hell they have theirs and f' everybody else.
What good it is for anyone having rich people pat each other on the back by electing their cronies and buddies to every position in government only to divert the entire country's economy into their offshore bank accounts and holding companies?

How many copies of windows do you think the collective government has bought?
And Oprah plowed all of her tax breaks into philanthropy....right, Actually she probably is one of the few with the least outright government/corporate welfare gains.
Here's a bigger list, and very few of them list explicitly what their corporate welfare scheme was, you can bet the bank that practically none of them made it all by "working hard"

yeah they should get to vote, for two reasons...
1-(IF) They are American citizens
2-I am working my *** off to be rich (wealthy) within 10 years, I'm gonna wanna vote still.

At least with the other thread I could see why someone of the legal voting age that does nothing but collect welfare, pop-out kids, sit on the porch, etc., shouldn't have a say in voting, especially when their vote can effect the very programs that secure their livelihood. It's like abortion for me... I hate the idea but must allow their right to do so. I think these bottom-feeders should have a right to vote still.
But this thread makes no sense whatsoever. How does making money off the government the same as accepting money from the government without ever lifting a finger? Gates would still be a multi-billionaire if you took away every copy of software sold to with the government. And Oprah would still be the extremely wealthy if she wasn't generous.

I work for the state, they are paying my wage for a service I provide. Does that mean I am in some way benefitting from the gov? No of course not, I provide a service, they pay me for it. Gates does the same thing. Except Gates gives millions upon millions to charities. Gates is the wrong guy to try to make into a villian.

Hey psoper, so what do you want to happen to the thousands of jobs bazillionaires create? You want those to go away too?
I have no problem with multimillionaires that earned it (bill gates, steve jobs)... it's the corrupt ones fleecing the shareholders in modern corporations that kill me.
