Why shouldn't two people who love each other be allowed to marry? Dont you think divorce is a much larger threat to the so called sancitity of marriage?

What's the difference?

Also, does this decriminalize buying sex too? Or just selling?

IMO, scratch that, in my country, your religion has nothing to do with laws. Your morals have nothing to do with laws. Gay marriage shouldn't be an issue, and the arguements for prop 8 are some of the most mentally challenged bouts of verbal diarhea I have ever heard.

Also, I'm not gay, so what gives me the right to say they can't do something I can? I'm assuming you're not gay, so what gives you the right to tell them they can't do something that has NO EFFECT ON YOU OR ANYONE ELSE.

If we are going to deny them the right to marriage, can we also deny it to the Polish and French? They aren't like me, so why should they be allowed to marry?

Just selling it from what I'm reading. They've always gone after the "Johns" as that effect has bigger results than taking down the seller.

My tax dollars should not be going to private institutions who discriminate against others.

Its still illegal, just girls will not be prosecuted for it. I believe just selling. It could potentially save the city up to $11 million per year.

but if they can't be arrested, investigated, or prosecuted, what effectively is the difference?

Maybe San Francisco is trying to overtake Vegas as "Sin City". Got the sex & the drugs, what's next?
