Yes, I do.
Remember, the entire country isn't ****ed up.
Just anyone that's either a DEM or GOP.

Without America, the rest of the world would have no one to blame for their problems.

If you have ever gone to a 3rd world country you will realize just how good we have it and how lucky we are to have something as small as this forum without having to worry about having our hands cut off or anything.
I met a little boy in Iraq, about 7, that had his hand cut off for reading the bible and his mom got shot for talking back to a male soldier.

These guys have every right to be asshats because the constitution gives it to them. I do not agree with it and dont like when people try to undermind the American way. I am just glad that we can have people do these things without getting killed for it. they need to realize this point also.

No way, anyone that says "I vote republican"..."I vote democrat".........is part of the problem America has today. Partisan politics are a greater threat to America than anything terrorists can divise. When you government is in the state of anarchy you're screwed as a voter regardless of affiliation. ALL in positions of authority today are doing a disservice to voting America.

How bad is it when instead of coming up with a compromise or agreeing on a viable solution one party would rather undermine the other then come up with a plan. Lewis Black said it best "the republican party is the party of stupid ideas and the democratic party is the party of no ideas". Rather than spend time on finding a viable solution for gay marriage, Iraq, medicare, political scandal the current admin. (and that involves everyone in Congress to the Oval Office) would rather make absolutely no progress then let the opposition have their way. We'd be better off having a full on draft and sending every soldier we have into Iraq or completely pulling out and pissing in the sand on the way out than doing a half *** this-for-that plan to please both sides.

So... what part of my statement "I do not respect Americans in general" are you arguing with?

I have to agree with Paul and the rest, No respect for America??? I don't even know what to say? How does one develop such discontent for a country that provides more opportunity for its people than any other country in the world? I see why the issues that directly affect you, your family and friends, loved ones have no effect on you. , somehow you have missed everything great about this country. Your lack of embodiment for virtually everything that this county and man kind has fought for since the beginning of time is you demise. I'm so ashamed. To dislike a politician, policy, party is one thing. You are missing the big picture of what makes this land so great. You fail to see why people have risked their lives for centuries for this great land. You fail to see why people risk their lives to be part of this great land. You should reconsider your membership in this union.

I firmly beleive that this country was founded on the idea of being able to question the government and the counrty.

Not the point, but I agree with this to an extent. It is one of the principles on which it was founded.

I'm fully aware of the excellence of the ideals and foundations of American Democracy and freedoms. It's what makes the way we squander it as a nation and waste our time bickering over stupid things that makes our failure to fulfill our potential as a culture and nation so disappointing.

I guess I was eluding to the fact that voting statistics are proof the the system is the flaw of politics. The fact that we can pull who votes for what means people spending billions on campaigning is essentially pointless.

Hear the issues and vote afterwards has always been my philosophy.

On a side note..............my American *** has damn near consumed a case of Abita beer.

If you weren't in such a minority of Americans who had such an opinion... I would like this country a lot more.

If you've decided your vote before you hear what each candidate is for why bother taking the time to go to the polls. I hate partisan politics more than anything. People who vote blindly for a candidate are the biggest problem we face at election time. As far as I'm concerned they shouldn't be allowed to vote. You should have to take a test before you pick.
