Are you a sore loser too??
I voted No on 8...
All the people crying here and in the streets of LA are sore losers as well.
The time for black president has come, but the time for gay marriage hasn't, but it will, someday. I'm sorry, I did my part to help by voting no, but I understand that the population has spoken, and we have to respect that, just like we have to respect that Obama is president elect.
It was stupid what people are doing in LA yesterday. Uncalled for, and no needed. If prop is wrong, the courts will interpret it as such and repeal it. It's THEIR job to interpret the law, lets let them do it. Otherwise work hard all year and put up a prop next year to hopefully overturn prop 8.

Despite my firm stance against homosexuality and the fact I feel all homosexuality with humans and in nature is just a fixable imbalance of brain chemistry caused from birth or onset by social circumstances in early life, I did vote NO.
So are all the same sex marriages in California this past year void now?

I believe they will count.
The ones that won't count are the ones that are happening in SF since Nov 4th. That mayor being an idiot. He should respect that the state voted, and it passed. They need to seek help from the supreme court or organize better and get a prop on the ballot next year to overturn this amendment.
Defying the state and nearly rioting in LA is not the way.

I was thinking that at first then I decided to really consider the voter population. Not everywhere in California is like North Hollywood and San Francisco. There's a lot of religion and red in this state. I can't tell you how many YES bumper stickers I've seen in the Sacramento area. About ten to one vs the NO on prop 8

What was the margin?
(For the record I neither voted Yes or no on Prop 8-I vote in Texas my home state).
