Dupe.

But, yeah...that guy certainly seemed to be attempting to co-operate.

Sucks...I say again, though...we didn't see what had happened prior to that, and we didn't see the scene from the officer's POV.

Even so, I can't imagine any possible situation prior to that clip that would warrant that shooting. That cop had complete control of his suspect at that very moment, and shot him anyways.

But as I said. We saw one (poorly lit, poorly filmed) POV which was NOT the POV of the officer.

Time will tell, but from what little I saw, the shoot was not justified.

There's no way that shooting was legitimate. The fact the officer placed a bullet in various parts of the body shows little control and panic, especially at such close range.

Unless the kid had a gun or something...very unlikely, but as I said....we only have one POV...not that of the officer.

I agree that it's most likely not legitimate.

I don't think he was in uniform. He tells the officer verbally multiple times that he is military.

if you watch the vid again it kinda looks like when the soldier goes to get up his right hand almost looks like its reaching for something in his waste band on his right hip, but its such crappy video its hard to tell. He also gets up kinda fast and the movement of his right hand combined with his rapid movement to get up off the ground may have caused the officer to shoot.

:rotfl: I don't think cops are that great of shots anyway, I've never heard of a tight grouping in a police shooting. I'm sure everyone has seen the footage where 10+ cops have that car surrounded in a residential neighborhood and they unleash about 100+ rounds into the car......not to mention the fact that they had it completely surrounded and were basically shooting at each other....ever heard of crossfire? :rotfl:

That doesn't seem to hold much weight with some.
