I think its time for a letter to the congressman. We can not say under god in the pledge of allegiance, but a Muslim can pray in school because they feel opressed. It should be all religions can pray in school, or none. Special treatments cause turmoil and that causes acts of hate and other BS.

how is it that there is time for kids to pray to the east but it's frowned upon and definately NOT given time to say prayers to the christian God. You know...the bible...the morals on which this country was lousely founded on.

Praying at certain times of the day is a part of Muslim life. If there was a sect of the christian religion (and there may be, I haven't heard of on yet) that requires prayer during school hours, then they should have that time as well.
I don't see what the whole huss fuss is about anyways. Some dumb sub ***** does like letting some kid go pray somewhere for a few mins. Let 'em go, big deal.
The pledge things does suck though. It wasn't in there until the 50's anyways, and it was put in there to stick to atheists(it was put there to fight communism which didn't believe in religion). I don't think we should change it though.
I just feel that we need to drop all of this crap and just let people pray, and let kids say God. We can learn a lot from Europe.
