I'd like to send a tribute to my Grandfather's Jack and Tuffy. Both served in WWII, and have sinced pass. R.I.P, fellas.
Jack was a Navy Sea Bee in the South Pacific and Tuffy was one of the first few men to learn to use Radar.

I found this today. For both of my Grandfathers who were Navy. One I never knew but the other was in the Pacific theatre for WWII and Korea.

the saying doesn't really make sense IMO...
You are missed....
But Never forgotten???
If you were to be forgotten... you couldn't be missed because the people would have forgotten about you... so aren't you sorta saying the same thing twice
