You are what they call an "idiot."
Core values are those values you and I, and the majority of Americans have. The trouble is that many have been hoodwinked into thinking that Obama or Democrats represent our core values, which they do not.
I.E. Democrats support "choice," but they inact laws that allow school nurses to bring your minor child to get an abortion without parental consent.
Democrats support "womens rights," but only support women when they conform to a left wing ideology.
Democrats support "equality," but their insane focus on "diversity" results in white flight, racism, and oppression.
Democrats support "freedom of speech," yet they support "the fairness doctrine" which would eliminate talk radio. They support only speech they agree with.
Shall I go on?
The people voting for Obama are not bad, just uninformed.

And calling Barack by his middle name isn't going to sway anybody that already refuse to vote for him. Imagine if McCain's middle name was Mussolini and people called him a fascist, would that bother you? Fortunately, name calling isn't nearly as effective as what's going to happen to people's pocket books and job security. Something that actually matters.

We deserve what every we get from whomever is elected. You can call it socialism/globalism if you like, but the Rebublicans have left a terrible taste in peoples mouths and the public is willing to try anything different. At the moment, being called a socialist doesn't seem as bad as being called a Republican. Democrats have ran the house and the executive office simultaneously in the past. America has not only survived, but we've miraculously managed not to become a socialist country either. This is neither the beginning of socialism or the end of America.

name he was born with.. the "hussien" name does have that negative connotation to it and so be it. why not use his full name every time we speak of him? unless there's something wrong with that. using Mussolini which isnt a part of Mccain's name is kinda out there man.
I think the socialist connection has more to do with his policies than does his name.

You may not feel that it's something degrading, but the only time I ever hear it, it's being used in spite. In 10 days, those spiteful people may have 4 years to get used to it. This election will probably be called by the time voting polls close on the east coast.

It's just another way to unjustly refer to him as anti-American. Should he be proud of his name... sure. But the only time people use it is when they have something bad to say. How many times do you hear McCain's, Palin's, or Biden's middle name?

I think through out all of this, both candidates are not that great, Obama does not seem to have a good amount of experience to run a country, he seems to be more of the business type of background, and all he can do is speak well. McCain on the other hand, flaunts out all the time about him being a veteran and what he has been through, and all that is great when it comes to the war we are in now, he can probably do that some good, but for the economy, I dont trust him, I just see another Bush. The economy right now doesnt have anymore time, money and patience for a Republican, it needs a Democrat.
The country has never really done well when a Republican has become President, and America has only had about 2-3 Democrates, and through that time we never had financial issues, no one was hurting, especially when Clinton was in office. Thats just some of what I think. Everyone seems to have good points.

The reason that the Clinton years were so strong was due to the policies that Regan started years before, and Clinton was smart enough to leave it alone and let the country prosper.
