But i wonder if we're seeing everything. The camera is a powerful tool. It puts you on the spot and draws you in. I remember being questioned once by a TV news crew I would of otherwise ignored. If the camera wasn't there to document the responses of these people I think we'd be getting a lot more "f-you Kirk" type reactions. I bet half the people are humoring Kirk and his sidekick until the camera goes off and it's safe to walk away.
And their argument is hard to debate without looking like a complete moron. If you gave someone a hypothetical question that puts their ethics and very souls in the balances, then you'd be getting the answers you wanted too.

Yes, it harms less people, I'm not trying to say Kirk is a terrorist or that anyone he is converting will hurt people. I agree with you on the fact that it's pretty benign. It's just the same exact reason for belief.
