Kerry's response to Bush's address
http://releases.usnewswire.com/GetRelease.asp?id=53468
I must say he makes a good point. Taking responsibility for shortcomings is one thing - and should be done - but there should be much more action than talk. Especially considering his public speaking skill and the impression people get regarding his intelligence and personal understanding of the issue at hand.
I think Kerry is a little too harsh here - he should have at least given him credit for the recovery plans Bush communicated in the address, regardless of whether or not they have even started employing them. This would keep more people from thinking that he's just tring to bash him and pull his approval rating even lower (if that's even possible...

Are you serious Salty? Remember, Kerry had "the plan". To bad he wouldn't tell us what it consisted of.

You're kidding, right? Or, has Bush just been fooling us the whole time by just playing dumb? Watching any excerpt of both of them speaking makes it pretty evident who is of greater intelligence. And don't give me that 'he's just not a good speaker crap. He doesn't even know words he tries to say. Or am I wrong? - Does he know all their meanings but just have a problem pronouncing them?

I think an IQ test, rather than school grades, would reveal the actual, obvious (to most) truth.

I think that it goes without saying that Kerry is more intelligent.
Kerry comes off as the elitist academic, whereas Bush comes off as the coke-sniffin cow-hand with too much Bourbon and not enough ******

Kerry is just an uptight douche, but you can't say that he is less intelligent than Bush. Salty you usually make intelligent and insightful remarks, but you missed the boat on this one.
