Not likely. People are signing up to vote for the first time in records numbers. And the best part is that in most states the ratio of those signing up is better than 2:1 democrat to republican. Keep in mind also that in these polls, they are only polling those who have voted before, which means this new 2:1 ratio hasn't been taken into account yet.

Thanks for posting, but now the AP says it's Bush: 50 Kerry: 46

Hmmm... wierd. Not saying I don't believe you but would you mind posting up a link to that poll that you speak of? The poll posted on the AP official website still shows Kerry in the lead 50 to Bush's 46.

Wait.. oh dang. That must have been yesterday's news.

Maybe it was for likely voters, or one of the many contradictions on the news every day. I saw it on one of the news channels, but honestly wasn't paying attention to which one it was, as I was channel surfing. I do recall that it said bush was ahead 50:46.

Sorry about that.

The poll results I mentioned earlier were a tidbit I caught while flipping channels, so getting I can't validate it =).

The fact that the race is polling so close is, to me, the real story (and the saddest part of it all).
I just can't figure out why so many Americans continue to support (blindly) this president Cheney and his ventriloquist act when his policies are so profoundly anti-american and anti-conservative.

The Cheney Bush admin is so cynical and devious...to whit: "clear skies act" = right to pollute more
"no child left behind" = highest droput rates in the USA in Texas, where this abomination was created
"faith based services" = federal funding for religious programs and almost exclusively to christian groups.
"personal savings accounts" = a solution to the health care cost crisis..yeah, just save more of your own money America...!

Kerry, flawed though any human necessarily must be, represents a true alternative to this nonsense.

Or we can continue to believe the BS that is force-fed us from the radical Right via FOX, spewed out from the myopic and intillectually incurious that have usurped our government and our way of life while we slept....

SOmewhere in Texas a village is missing its idiot.
