Kinda funny that Kerry got himself a "tan" in preparation for the debates on Thursday. I guess he wanted to appeal to potential voters by looks.

It's sad, I admit, but since Nixon debated Kenedy on TV way back when, looks count for a lot in the presidential election, especially during the debates. I'm sure your boy Arnold uses the tanning beds too...

Kerry seems to have done the same thing but for color TV! This might go down (along with Dean's YEEEEHAAAAWWW!!!) as another great political gaffe of the decade.

So he went tanning...Big deal, tons of people do it. I personally think I look better when tanned so luckily I have a friend that owns a tanning salon and I tan for free in the winter. (I would never do it if it wasn't free) LOL Plus I live in Michigan. 
Although kerry does look orange but that will go away after a few days and it will settle into a dark brown tan.

I say we blame HDTV. 
The reality is that one's appearance plays a bigger role in their success than a lot of people like to admit. I'm not just talking about politicians, either, the same is true in most professions. The real question is whether or not the old man looks better or worse with his new tan! lol
