Iran Defies UN on Converting Uranium; Israel seeks US bunker bombs

Iran Defies UN, Says Will Go on Converting Uranium + Israel seeks US bunker bombs= bad news.

VIENNA (Reuters) - Iran defied the United Nations (news - web sites) on Tuesday by announcing it would go on converting a large amount of raw uranium to prepare it for enrichment, a process that can be used to develop atomic bombs.

JERUSALEM (Reuters) - The United States plans to sell Israel $319 million (178 million pounds) worth of air-launched bombs, including 500 "bunker busters" potentially able to hit Iran's underground nuclear facilities, Israeli security sources have said.
Any predictions?

If Israel acts, this wouldn't be the first time Israel has put a stop to a nuclear program with force.

I predict busted bumkers. Any idea, Salty, how this may effect us here in the States? Will this make it more or less likly that a confrontation will occure between the U.S. and Iran? Any guesses?

If it does the **** will hit the fan thats for sure. Iraq still needs our forces there to try and rebuild it. Isreal is already despised by many of the arb world for its treatment of the Palestiens. (God i can't spell tonight.) So I could see some serious conflict arising. Lets hope it doesn't come to that.
