You say "that's it" but that's not true. WHO does the work when they don't? You make it sound like the fact that they are illegal is the issue when the real issue is the money behind supporting them with medical, or housing, or food stamps. THAT is the issue. Them being illegal is just the excuse people use to validate the point.

The fact I am trying to show is gaining citizenship IS NOT a mountain to climb - if you like it here and you work here - get your card; it's not going to be given to you but at the same time it isn't a huge debacle.
As far as who has to do the work; like I said, I've been seeing a lot of non-Hispanics doing the work that used to be done by Hispanics lately.
I have no problem with them working here - please work! This is the land of possibilities but that doesn't mean you can just come in here without registering like everyone else.
Cheap labor is not worth having murderers, rapists, drug traffickers and child molesters go unmonitored in my country; sorry.

Go after the people that pay illegal immigrants for labor and you'll eliminate the problem. People come to the U.S. illegally because they have something to gain -- remove the reward and you remove the motivation to come here.

I gotta add, when referring to illegals I hear 'Mexican' way too often. I've met my share of illegals that were hispanic, and only a few were actually from Mexico. Most were from El Salvador, Chile, and Guatemala.

This is the most asinine statement ever made, in the entire world!
How many Americans do you see sneaking across the border into Mexico in order to better their lives and their families' lives?
In Mexico, you make, what, $2/hr?
If you're lucky.
So coming to America for $6-10/hr is a ****ing gift from heaven.

We live in a great country but the people in this country are the most demanding people I can think of.
I was born in San Francisco, my mother is from El Salvador and my Father from Nicaragua, both are citizens but NO I'm not Mexican.
And to the gentleman that made the comment of them getting their citizenship... that point I can agree with 100%. And to the other gentleman who said attack the people who put the cake on the plate... I agree with that even more!
