honestly, i have no problem with illegal / migrant workers, they are a vital part of our economy and i cant really blame them for wanting to be in the US... and coming here to actually work.

but the problem is, they bring 8 family members who don't work with them. that's the drain. and its definitely a net loss.

technically, manifest destiny (haha) gave us CA. But Mexico owned it originally and most educated folks would hopefully agree that the U.S. basically strongarmed this state into our possession. We stole it more or less for gold....

I personally think that illegal aliens are bull****, and have firsthand experience from when a drunk mexican illegal t-boned our car at 45, sending my friends mom into the ICU for three weeks to repair the left side of her body. This greaseball ran off, was tackled and arrested. He posted bail and went back home.

He decided to come back two years later and was found.

Tell me this didn't cost the state, and everyone involved, a ****load of money.

To all illegal immigrant sympathizers, unless you are in john lennon land, please can the agriculture rhetoric (lol canned vegetables) and think about how a structured society operates, and why illegal immigrants destroy its foundation.

They are a huge drain on our state budget, notwithstanding the other gaping holes on the balance sheet.

It's not hard to become a legal citizen - millions upon millions have done it.

Going around the system and cheating it wastes tax payer dollars and opens our borders up for domestic terrorism, illegal drug traffickers as well as rapists, murders and child molesters free to go between the two nations.

Sorry, but if you are an illegal immigrant - you need to GTFO.

Yeah, looking back it was poorly worded but my point remains valid.

Having unsecured borders leaves us wide open for attacks on our soil.

I didn't say it has been a source of it, and just because it has 'worked' for 233 years running doesn't mean it will work forever.

Fact is, unsecured borders run a high risk of being a entrance into the country - a group that could take advantage of that are terrorists.
