Why yeah right? We don't have any solid leads on whether or not he's alive. The only lead we have may come from a French source, but it's really all we have.

As much as i'd like to hear a story on how a team blew his heart out the back of his chest, Typhoid isn't an easy death by any means. This would also mean we don't have to put him through our ridiculous legal system which would influence more attacks. We also wouldn’t have to hear how the left wants to be absolutely sure he’s being given the proper treatment in captivity.

If true, I wonder how this will effect his martyrdom status? Gotta love Islam... Katrina = Allah’s will. Hundreds of thousands die in a tsunami and earthquake in predominately Muslim countries and mums the word. I'm sure Allah struck him down with Typhoid because he had a higher mission for him in the afterlife.

Just because I don't want to get my, or anyone else's, hopes up too high. That and there's no real indication that his death would change anything for the better.

Everyone's gotta die sometime and my inclination is that he is not living the life of luxury. Therefore, his living conditions wouldn't be the most healthy. However, there are no guarantees about anything.

in all honesty it doesn't really matter if he is dead or not, he already did his job. Al Qaeda is bigger then ever, the middle east turned into complete chaos and the war in Iraq turned into "another vietnam" which is exactly what Osama said a few weeks prior to 9/11. If he died, there is thousands on thousands of people willing to take his place without hesitation

Everybody's got great points. GT35, Dre, Eric... Unfortunately, no one knows. It's all about the spin, baby! And perception. Reality doesn't really matter so much in this case. It's who exploits the fact that he's still alive or who exploits the fact that he's dead....first.
