True equality doesn't equate a people's worth by the color of their skin. We know that American civilization and culture created an environment in which all races succeeded and were able to change the world through creativity, innovation, and invention. Our society harnessed global invention of mathmatics from the middle-east, explosives from China, and electricity, and did something fantastic with it.

I think it's good to learn a little about some famous inventors of different races, but I think it's dangerous to focus on a single race.
