First they came for the communists
First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a communist;
Then they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a socialist;
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a trade unionist;
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
because I was not a Jew;
Then they came for me--
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

I will agree, we're slowly gettin' butt ****ed by our government. Right now, we have worthless paper bills that have no value tied to real metal, so that's why they can just print all they want and call it the same.
You give 1000 bux and spread it out to 100 broke people, they spend it on cigarettes, small minuscule things... you give 1000 bucks to a person with money, and they save and invest it.
Which one will you get more growth from? Giving money to poor people? Or giving money to someone who might invest it and grow their business and HIRE more people.
People fail to grasp that concept. They think being Robin Hood and spreading the wealth in terms of taxation is the right way to do things... when in fact small business should be allowed more money and more freedom to hire and grow the economy.
No one, including Obama himself thinks government takeover of anything will lead to growth. The government doesn't have the ideas, in fact the people came up with the government, not the other way around. The people have the ideas, the more the government asserts control (whether they're stating, "they would have gone bankrupts" "we're saving jobs" the more we get screwed.)
