Finally: Scott Peterson Convicted of Murdering Wife

What a waste of tax payers money this fiasco was, huh? I thought the man was guilty before the trail even started. The fact he was caught with tons of cash and blonde hair further solidified my assumption.

Maybe now I won't have to wait 30+ minutes to get a decent local weather report now that this bull**** coverage is off the air...

*raises glass* Here's to him possibly getting the death sentence when I’m in my late 40's, the bloodsucking media who covered this story and to our worthless legal system! *cheers*

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. (AP) - Scott Peterson was convicted Friday of murdering his pregnant wife and dumping her body in San Francisco Bay in what prosecutors in the made-for-cable-TV case portrayed as a cold-blooded attempt to escape marriage and fatherhood for the bachelor life.

Peterson, 32, could get could get the death penalty. He was convicted of one count of first-degree murder for killing his wife, Laci, and one count of second-degree murder in the death of the son she was carrying.

I bet the fine folks of Redwood City are gonna be stoked that they can drive around town without the extra traffic and media yahoos who plagued their little Bay Area niche for the last 5 months

No way! United nothing! He is inocent and this is all some right-wing conspiracy! I personally think he witnessed the missle (later proclaimed to be a jet ) that hit the pentagon, and Bush Co. is just trying to shut him up.

On a serious note, I'm glad to see they finally found this douche guilty. How anyone could kill his wife and unborn child simply to be able to be with other women is beyond me. Now, I just hope he gets the death penalty.

Its not over until sentencing. I hope he gets the death penalty too. Wait, whats this?! A democrat endorsing capital punishment and mocking a right wing plot conspiracy theory?!

Alright...just to throw a wrench in the works...I don't think he should be killed. Don't you think his life would be more misserable if he had to spend the entire rest of it in a jail cell getting harrased by other inmates? Killing him accomplishes nothing other than satisfying a few peoples vindictive minds. The worst punishment is not death, it is hellish life.

That has always been the issue with me when it comes to people (I'm not saying you) whom oppose capital punishment on the basis that it is cruel and unusual punishment. Wouldn't locking him up with other perverted murderers and rapists so that he can be harrased and raped repeatedly constitute cruel and unusual punishment?

Thank God that stupid fluff story will be out of the news. What a colossal waste of media resources.

Hahaha, exactly. Think about what you would rather have happen if you were convicted of a capitol crime. Die quickly and painlessly, or spend the rest of your life being someone's b***, eating s***y food, and staying in the same exact small *** room for ever.
